A Voice Never Forgotten | Dr. Maya Angelou

May 28, 2014 |  LOVE EMBRACE INSPIRE | By Tiffany Nicole

What an amazing gift to this planet Dr. Maya Angelou was. The 86-year-old renown poet, author, actress and civil rights activist has died today leaving behind a life changing legacy. From I Know Why The Cage Bird Sings, Phenomenal Woman, Still I Rise, her words inspired, uplifted and TRULY empowered others. She was a selfless individual who truly cared about empowering all who read her words, heard hear voice, and watched her plays and films.

Today, LoveEmbraceInspire.com celebrates this angel who did not live in disguise, but exuded and exemplified the true inner and outer beauty, essence, strength, power and dignity of a black woman. Though she is no longer with us in the flesh, let us congratulate Dr. Maya Angelou for completing the assignment given to her by the Almighty, as He has called her home to glory and will give her the crown she so deserves.

Phenomenal Woman
