Empowerment | How to Minimize The Pain of Life

October 12, 2014 | LOVE EMBRACE INSPIRE  | By Trish Lewis

We all have been through a great deal of trials in our life that caused us a great deal of pain. Sometimes the situation causes us to act out of emotion instead of faith; causing more pain and stress. The key to minimizing the pain of God breaking us is by understanding and applying these 3 fundamentals.

1. Lay a foundation based on His plan in the first place. The more decisions we make without Him, the more He has to break up once we surrender to Him. Don't pray for God to take you out of the situation, pray for strength to guide you through the test and you receive everything out of the test He intended you to.

2. Have Faith. When you don't know God's plan, trust His heart. He may not reveal to you why He is allowing this situation to happen. But you have to trust that His love for us is beyond basic human comprehension. Trust that God always has our best interest at heart.

3. Understand that there is purpose in your pain. A broken heart, lost of a loved one or unexpected events. God has placed within each of us a huge amount of untapped strength & potential. The purpose of your pain is to tap into that strength to carry you to the next level. Also your hurt will always be used to help other people overcome the same. There is never any waste hurt.

It is not designed for you to go through alone or without God's blueprint. When we lay ground on our own, without God's plan in mind, then we are operating in a dangerous place. Emotional decisions make it hard to follow God and it makes our seasons of suffering more painful.

It's better to start making good choices, getting good advice, and improving in these areas now than to wait for the season of misery to come and do it for us. Either way, a season is coming, and we must endure it to be where God wants us all to be.

And we know, all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28

With Love,
Trish
